On 8 July 2015, the European Parliament’s (EP) Plenary session adopted the agreement reached in trialogue with the Council of the EU last May, on the European Commission’s proposal for a Directive on seafarers. European social partners for improving the quality of work in the railway sector

ILO finds Qatar guilty

Geneva-based United Nations agency the ILO (International Labour Organization) today found Qatar guilty of allowing its state-owned airline, Qatar Airways, to violate international and national agreements and institutionalise discrimination. The case was successfully brought against Qatar by the ITF (International Transport Workers’ Federation) and the ITUC (International Trade Union Confederation). European Parliament’s debate on PSR heads in the right direction

Members of Federation of Transport Trade Union in Bulgaria Young Committee participated in the International Youth Festival of Labor organized by the CFDT in Paris, France. The festival was held on the occasion of May 1 – International Labor Day and brought together under one roof over 5,000 youth participants and representatives of different trade unions and employers from across Europe.
