It is with deepest pain and sorrow that we, the Federation of Transport Trade Unions in Bulgaria /FTTUB/, received from our ETF colleagues the tragic news of the crash of Germanwings flight 4U 9525 in the French Alps on Tuesday, March 24, 2015, in which 150 people, including infants, have lost their lives.
Ekaterina Yordanova, President of FTTUB, expresses our deepest and sincere condolences to both the families of the victims and the colleagues of the deceased crew:
“Our hearts now go to the families and relatives of those who died in this tragic accident. We send our most sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to all of them. In these hard times I would like to extend our support solidarity to our colleagues in Germanwings for their immense loss of the close fellow workers and friends.”
ETF statement on Germanwings flight accident
The ETF has learned with big sadness about the tragic accident of Germanwings flight 4U9525 en route from Barcelona to Dusseldorf over the French Alps today. As part of the aviation family, we wish to express our deepest condolences to all the families and the relatives of the victims who have lost their lives.
“Our thoughts are with the families of the passengers and crew members who died on duty. We are extending the solidarity of the fellow European cabin crew to all Germanwings colleagues.” said Elisabetta Chicca, the Chair of the ETF Cabin Crew Committee.
