On 26 June, an information campaign on the “Decent work and dialogue – exchange of good practices” project took place within the “Decent work and tripartite dialogue” program supported by Norway through the Norway grants fund. The campaign aimed to acquaint the FTTUB members in the urban transport of Sofia with the outcomes of the project implemented by two trade unions – CITUB and the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions, LO, and two employers’ organisations – the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the Confederation of Norwegian Enterprises NHO. The project upgrades the common Bulgarian – Norwegian project from 2008 “Health, Safety and Environment in the Work Place” (see on www.hse-bg.org ).
The project partners’ objectives are to promote the introduction of the decent work agenda in Norway and Bulgaria through acknowledge and exchange of good practices in the bipartite and tripartite dialogue, creation of an e-forum “Decent work”, development of innovative tools and systems to strengthen the social partnership and increase of the administrative capacity of the structures of the Bulgarian employers’ associations and trade unions. More information on the project is available on www.dwd.hse-bg.org . The FTTUB information campaign aims to disseminate the best practices collected for a broad trade union use.
